- Some pictures from Buwaiswa village in Kamuli district, Eastern Uganda. On the appr. 800 sqm OGLM has built with the help of numerous volunteers from all over the world an orphanage for, mainly, AIDS-orphans and other vulnerable children. Also, there is a vocational tailor school. The aim of the chairman Chris Kalema is to set up a model-village in terms of ecological and economic sustainability and tolerance towards people living with HIV/AIDS.

- Child labour is common in Uganda. Although appropriate legislation is in place enforcement and enforceability is weak. When children would not work for famine wages they wouldn't survive at all. Those kids in the stone quarry, for instance, make 1000 UGX, appr. 30€-cents, per 10-12 hour work day. Sometimes they don't even get this money when the quarry owner doesn't feel to go to the quarry. Other chidlren work in fishery, sorting and drying fish, or make bricks. Very few attend school.
